Lions Eye State Title Repeat

De Anza College will look to repeat as 3C2A state champions, starting with a home match against district rival Foothill College on March 3.

Under the leadership of head coach Mark Landefeld, DA has asserted itself as a perennial power - winning three state titles in the last four years.

The Lions return a core group of sophomores and welcome several talented freshman for the 2026 season.

This season, the six teams from the Coast Conference and the three from the South Coast Conference will meet in regional crossovers during the regular season.

The 2026 state finals will take place from May 7-9.
