De Anza Rolls To 5–0
The De Anza College football team kept its perfect season alive with a dominant 44–10 road win over Chabot on Saturday night.
The Mountain Lions improved to 5–0 overall, using explosive special teams, balanced offense, and a stifling defense to remain one of the top programs in Northern California.
"We had a rough week of limited practice with nearly half of the team out due to illness after the Siskiyous trip - but I'm proud of the guys for responding the right way," said head coach Joe D'Agostino, who has guided DA to 15 straight regular season victories.
"We are still looking to put four quarters together, so our coaches are encouraged that our best football is still ahead of us. More guys are getting the opportunity to play and we are getting healthy heading into the Bye Week and then league play."
