De Anza To Host Feather River In Championship

De Anza To Host Feather River In Championship

No. 18 De Anza College and No. 22 Feather River College will meet for the second time this season, as participants in the 2025 NCFC American Division Championship Bowl.

The title game is set for Saturday, Nov. 22 with a 12:00 p.m. kickoff in Cupertino. De Anza will host the free livestream broadcast on NorCal Sports TV.

The Lions (10-0) won the Golden Coast League are led by two-time league Coach of the Year Joe D'Agostino. The Golden Eagles (9-1) - representing as champions of the Pacific-7 League - are guided by head coach Nick Goulet.

Both teams met at De Anza back in Week 3, in a tightly-contested game that came down to the wire. De Anza rallied for a 35-29 victory - the only loss for FRC.

The Lions and Golden Eagles feature explosive offenses, opportunistic defenses, and state-level statistical leaders that set up a marquee matchup.

Championship Outlook

Saturday's matchup features a classic contrast:

  • De Anza's precision passing game (296 yds per game) vs. Feather River's punishing rushing attack (327 yds per game).
  • Both defenses allow fewer than 15 points per contest and thrive on turnovers, making execution and field position critical.
  • The Mountain Lions are seeking their first perfect 11-0 finish in modern program history, while the Golden Eagles aim for a conference title behind the state's most prolific rushing offense.
