The De Anza College men's soccer team earned a first-round home game as the No. 10 seed and will host No. 23 Modesto Junior College on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
The Lions (11-4-4 overall) finished in third place in the Coast Conference South Division with a 7-3-3 record. The Pirates (6-13-3) ended the regular season in fifth place in the Big 8 Conference at 1-8-1.
Both teams met early in the season - on August 26 in Cupertino - with the Lions needing two late goals in a 3-3 tie.
Wednesday's winner will play at No. 7 West Valley in the state's Round of 32.
