De Anza Scores Historic Shutout Win

The De Anza College men's soccer team delivered one of the most commanding performances in school history with an 11–0 shutout victory over Monterey Peninsula College at home on Tuesday afternoon.

The Mountain Lions' explosive attack featured 11 goals from nine different players, marking one of the most lopsided wins ever recorded by the program.

Dominant from Start to Finish

No. 16 De Anza (3-2-2, 7-3-3) wasted little time setting the tone, finding the back of the net less than seven minutes into play.

Sophomore Lucas Spencer opened the scoring and went on to tally two goals and two assists, leading a dynamic offensive unit that overwhelmed the Lobos throughout both halves.

By halftime, De Anza had already built a 7–0 lead, showcasing precise passing, creativity in the midfield, and relentless pressure in the attacking third. The team added four more goals in the second half to seal the dominating win.
